Media Invitation - Three Keywords for Your Safety - Safety Campaign Targets Over 10,000 Social Housing Seniors

MONTREAL, June 7, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ -

Event:	From mid-May to mid-June 2013, stakeholders from the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), Tandem Montréal and the Office municipal d'habitation de Montréal (OMHM) will conduct a door-to-door campaign blitz in some 55 low-rent seniors' high-rises. The door-to-door activities will continue into 2014. Over 10,000 seniors are targeted by this campaign.
When:	Friday, June 14, at 10 a.m.
Where:	Habitations Saint-Vallier, located at 5675 rue Saint-Denis
Who:	Émilie Thuillier, Vice-Chair of the Executive Committee and responsible, among others, of family and seniors, Ville de Montréal Commander Vincent Richer, Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) Johanne Daigle, Table des directeurs de Tandem Montréal Denis Quirion, Executive Director of the Office municipal d'habitation de Montréal (OMHM)
	Stakeholders from these three organizations, as well as tenants of the Office municipal d'habitation de Montréal, will also be present.
About:	Held the day before World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, this official launch of the campaign entitled Three Keywords for Your Safety encourages seniors to be vigilant. It is aimed at developing safe behaviour among tenants.
