Media Invitation - Time of transformation: Canadian Grain Commission to discuss industry issues at Western Canada Farm Progress Show
REGINA, June 18, 2012 /CNW/ - The Canadian Grain Commission has invited the grain industry, licensees, producer groups and the media to attend an information session to be presented at the Western Canada Farm Progress Show on June 21, 2012.
The information session will focus on:
- Grain grading and variety registration systems
- The Canadian Grain Commission's role in market access issues
- The Canadian Grain Commission's user fees process
- Proposed changes to the Canada Grain Act
Canadian Grain Commission presenters at the information session include:
- Elwin Hermanson, Chief Commissioner
- Gordon Miles, Chief Operating Officer
- Jim Stuart, Director of Industry Services
