Keolis Canada and NAVYA to test the NAVYA ARMA at the
UITP Global Public Transport Summit
MONTREAL, May 11, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - The first autonomous electric shuttle in Canada to run on a marked public road will be unveiled at the upcoming UITP Global Public Transport Summit, being held in Montreal in recognition of the city's 375th anniversary. The shuttle, designed and built by French company NAVYA, is operated by Keolis Canada.
Invited media representatives will have the chance to take a ride on the shuttle, which will drive along a predefined route around Parc Jean-Paul-Riopelle, near the Palais des congrès.
Members of the Keolis and NAVYA teams, including engineers and leaders from the two companies, will be available to answer your questions and for interviews. During the three-day event, they will explain the potential the shuttle holds for Canada and indeed all of North America, and they will share their vision for the growth of autonomous vehicles. The NAVYA ARMA has been deployed in nine countries, with 35 shuttles currently in operation.
