What: White Ribbon is pleased to invite media representatives to the launch of its new sexual violence prevention tool for Ontario Educators "Drawing the Line on Sexual Violence" during the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence. Developed as part of "It's Never Okay: An Action Plan to Stop Sexual Violence and Harassment" and in partnership with the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario (ETFO/FEEO) and the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation OSSTF/FEESO, the tool helps children learn about gender equality, respectful relationships, and sexual violence prevention.
The honourable Indira Naidoo-Harris, Minister of the Status of Women, will be in attendance.
