MEDIA INVITATION - Launch of a key project to support the digital transition of community agencies Français
MONTREAL, March 10, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The Centraides of Quebec are inviting media representatives to a virtual press conference about the launch of a key project to support the digital transformation of community agencies. Automating specific tasks at these agencies will free up their human resources to provide more services to vulnerable populations.
This announcement will be attended by Mr. Jean Boulet, Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Solidarity, Minister of Immigration, Francization and Integration, and Minister Responsible for the Mauricie region; Mr. Claude Pinard, President and Executive Director of Centraide of Greater Montreal; and Ms. Maria Tomovic, Deputy Director, Program Delivery, Open North.
Community agencies face significant challenges to make the digital transition. They have limited resources to replace IT equipment and cover the costs to transform their technology. This project will help bridge the technology gap that has widened in recent years.
