OTTAWA, March 7, 2018 /CNW/ - In its efforts to redefine what it means to be a digital citizen, Groupe Média TFO invites kids and teens to participate in discussions and rethink education in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
As digital citizenship is beginning to feature on Ontario's educational priorities, teachers, content creators, the media and innovative companies will, for the very first time, have the opportunity of listening and engaging with students from partner school boards: the Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est, the Conseil des écoles publiques de l'Est de l'Ontario and the Conseil scolaire de district catholique de l'Est ontarien.
Groupe Média TFO is proud to invite the media to participate in this 5th Edition of Les Tablettistes, which will be held on March 7, in Ottawa, with words from Bruce Rodrigues, Deputy Minister of Education, and Lizzie Velasquez, an activist against cyberbullying.
Over 35 speakers from Canada, the United States and Europe will lead discussions about tomorrow's tech revolutions and the transformations that learners should prepare for in the 21st century. In this 2018 edition, Les Tablettistes will explore:
- Digital Citizenship
- Media Education
- Female Leadership
- Blockchains and Artificial Intelligence
