Summer lunch program for at-risk children addresses nutritional needs

What: Second Harvest, Sodexo and volunteers will feed hungry campers at the Feeding Our Future BBQ
Where: University Settlement, 23 Grange Road, Toronto (downtown, near Queen Street & McCaul Street)
When: Monday, August 14th, 12:00 P.M – 2:00 P.M.
Why: Across Canada, an estimated one million children depend on school lunch programs. When summer arrives and schools close, many go without. Sodexo's STOP HUNGER Foundation Feeding Our Future initiative was developed by Sodexo in response to children going hungry over the summer months.
In Toronto, Second Harvest and Sodexo collaborate on Feeding Our Future, with funding provided by The Geoffrey H. Wood Foundation, to provide approximately 40,000 lunches to kids over the summer.
