Media accreditation required
OTTAWA, June 5, 2018 /CNW/ - As incoming Chair of the Council of the Federation, New Brunswick Premier Brian Gallant will host the 2018 Summer Meeting of Canada's Premiers from July 18 to 20 at the Algonquin Resort in Saint Andrews, New Brunswick.
Media Accreditation
Media representatives who wish to cover the 2018 Summer Meeting of Canada's Premiers must register online. To access the online registration system, please visit www.canadaspremiers.ca, click on the link for the 2018 Summer Meeting and click "Media Registration". Media must register by July 18, 2018.
Individuals will be screened to ensure they are official media representatives. A photo-ID badge will be provided to all accredited media at the registration desk in Saint Andrews.
Media Accommodation
Media are responsible for making their own hotel reservations. A limited block of rooms is available at the St. Andrews Inn & Suites (111 Water Street, Saint Andrews).
- Standard room rate: $170/night (includes complimentary internet and parking)
- Reservation deadline for group rate: Friday, June 15

Media Centre
A media centre will be set up in the Van Horne Ballroom, located on the front lawn of the Algonquin Resort on Thursday, July 19 and Friday, July 20. A unimic will also be set up in this area. The room will be equipped with internet access, a printer and power outlets.

A meeting of Premiers and National Indigenous Organization Leaders will be held on Wednesday, July 18 in Bouctouche, New Brunswick. Details about this meeting will be issued by the Government of New Brunswick.
The Council of the Federation comprises all 13 provincial and territorial Premiers. It enables Premiers to work collaboratively, form closer ties, foster constructive relationships among governments, and show leadership on important issues that matter to Canadians.
