ST. JOHN'S, June 2, 2015 /CNW/ - As incoming Chair of the Council of the Federation, Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Paul Davis will host the 2015 Summer Meeting of Canada's Premiers from July 15 to 17 at the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland in St. John's.
Media Accreditation
Media representatives who wish to cover the 2015 Summer Meeting of Canada's Premiers must register online. To access the online registration system, please visit www.canadaspremiers.ca, click on the link for the 2015 Summer Meeting and click "Media Registration". Media must register by July 15, 2015.
Individuals will be screened to ensure they are official media representatives. A photo-ID badge will be provided to all accredited media at the media centre in St. John's.
Media Accommodation
Media are responsible for making their own hotel reservations. A limited block of rooms is available at the two hotels outlined below. Please note that the deadline for reservations under the group block is Monday, June 15.

Media Centre
A media centre will be located in Fort William Ballroom A-B (lobby level) of the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland. A unimic will also be set up in this area. This room will be equipped with internet access and power outlets.

A meeting of Premiers and National Aboriginal Organization Leaders will be held on Wednesday, July 15 at the Hotel North Two in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. Details about this meeting will be issued by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador.
The Council of the Federation comprises all 13 provincial and territorial Premiers. It enables Premiers to work collaboratively, form closer ties, foster constructive relationships between governments, and show leadership on important issues that matter to Canadians.
