WHITEHORSE, June 1, 2016 /CNW/ - As incoming Chair of the Council of the Federation, Yukon Premier Darrell Pasloski will host the 2016 Summer Meeting of Canada's Premiers July 20 to 22 at the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre (KDCC) in Whitehorse.
Media Accreditation
Media representatives who wish to cover the 2016 Summer Meeting of Canada's Premiers must register online. To access the online registration system, please visit www.canadaspremiers.ca, click on the link for the 2016 summer meeting and click "Media Registration". Media must register by July 20, 2016.
Individuals will be screened to ensure they are official media representatives. A photo-ID badge will be provided to all accredited media at the media centre in Whitehorse.

Media are responsible for making their own hotel reservations. A limited block of rooms is available at the two hotels outlined below. Please note the deadlines below for making reservations under the group block.

Media Centre
A media centre will be located in the Long House of the KDCC. A unimic will also be set up in this area. This room will be equipped with internet access, a printer and power outlets.

Closing News Conference |
A meeting of Premiers and National Aboriginal Organization Leaders will be held on Wednesday, July 20 in Haines Junction, Yukon. Details about this meeting will be issued by the Government of Yukon.
The Council of the Federation comprises all 13 provincial and territorial Premiers. It enables Premiers to work collaboratively, form closer ties, foster constructive relationships among governments, and show leadership on important issues that matter to Canadians.
