OTTAWA, July 19, 2012 /CNW/ - Please note the following final details regarding the 2012 Summer Meeting of the Council of the Federation (COF) taking place in Halifax from July 25-27, 2012.
Media Registration
Media representatives who wish to attend the 2012 Council of the Federation Summer Meeting must register online. To access the online registration system, please visit www.councilofthefederation.ca and click on the logo for the 2012 COF summer meeting. Then click on "Media Registration". Individuals will be screened to ensure they are official media representatives. A photo-ID badge will be provided to all accredited media at the media registration desk during the following hours:

A meeting of Premiers and National Aboriginal Organization Leaders will be held in the morning on Wednesday, July 25 at the Lunenburg Arms Hotel in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. Details about this meeting will be issued by the Government of Nova Scotia.
The Council of the Federation comprises all 13 provincial and territorial Premiers. It enables Premiers to work collaboratively to strengthen the Canadian federation by fostering a constructive relationship among the provinces and territories, and with the federal government.
