OTTAWA, July 22, 2013 /CNW/ - Please note the following final details regarding the 2013 Summer Meeting of the Council of the Federation (COF) taking place in Niagara-on-the-Lake from July 24 to 26, 2013.
Media Registration
Media representatives who wish to attend the 2013 Council of the Federation Summer Meeting must register online. To access the online registration system, please visit www.councilofthefederation.ca, click on the link for the 2013 Council of the Federation Summer Meeting and click "Media Registration". Media must register by July 23, 2013. Individuals will be screened to ensure they are official media representatives. A photo-ID badge will be provided to all accredited media at the media registration desk during the following hours:

Media Centre
A media centre will be located in Grand Georgian Ballroom C (Ground level) of the Queen's Landing Hotel. This room will be equipped with Internet access, power outlets and television monitors. Media must use the Melville Street hotel entrance (adjacent to the hotel parking area).
Satellite Truck Parking
Parking for satellite trucks is available in the hotel parking lot off Melville Street.

Additional Information
A meeting of Premiers and National Aboriginal Organizations Leaders will be held on Wednesday, July 24 at White Oaks in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The Government of Ontario has already issued details about this meeting.
The Council of the Federation comprises all 13 provincial and territorial Premiers. It enables Premiers to work collaboratively to strengthen the Canadian federation by fostering a constructive relationship among the provinces and territories and with the federal government.
