Organization leaders to meet in Churchill
WINNIPEG, July 12 /CNW Telbec/ - Premiers and National Aboriginal Organization (NAO) Leaders will meet with Premier Greg Selinger in Churchill on Wednesday, Aug. 4 to discuss ways to improve the quality of life for Aboriginal people.

All media attending the meeting must be accredited. Media accredited for the 2010 Council of the Federation summer meeting are automatically accredited for the NAO meeting in Churchill. Media representatives are responsible for making their own hotel reservations. A limited block of rooms has been reserved at Aurora Inn in Churchill. To make a reservation, please call 204-675-2071 and reference MB2010. Guest rooms are $115.00/night single and $149.00/night double. Media representatives must make their reservations no later than July 29 in order to qualify for the special rate. After this date, room rates and availability are not guaranteed.
Transportation --------------
Winnipeg is the main hub for travel to Churchill. The flight from Winnipeg to Churchill is approximately two hours in length. Calm Air International and Kivalliq Air operate daily flights to and from Churchill.
In addition, there are a limited number of seats reserved for media on chartered flights departing Winnipeg for Churchill the afternoon of Tuesday, Aug. 3 and the morning of Wednesday, Aug. 4 (with return the afternoon of Aug. 4). These seats will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis at an average cost of $2,294, but please note that some flights can be as much as $4,000 per seat.
