OTTAWA, June 29, 2014 /CNW/ - A special opportunity to mark Canada Day and produce a story that will undoubtedly be of interest to your readers/listeners.
This past May, Parks Canada announced the two new Parks Canada Youth Ambassadors, Lindsay Little and George Woodhouse. In their role as Youth Ambassadors, these two 24 year olds will explore some of Canada's most unique and interesting places first-hand – biking, kayaking, hiking and reliving history – and share these experiences with youth in their communities and at Parks Canada locations.
As part of their mission, Lindsay, from Stirling, Ontario, and George, from Owen Sound, Ontario, will be roaming the country and sharing their vision with other young adults through social media.
Lindsay and George will be in Ottawa to celebrate Canada Day and will attend Parks Canada's planned activities as part of the Canada Day in the Capital celebrations. Join them and you will find out about a special activity they're preparing in the ByWard Market. Here's a hint: it involves a cowboy and a polar bear.
