OTTAWA, Jan. 28, 2015 /CNW/ - For the first time, Canadians across the country and people from around the world are now able to skate virtually along the whole 7.8 kilometres of the Rideau Canal Skateway!
Just in time for Winterlude, Google Canada, Parks Canada and the National Capital Commission (NCC), are pleased to announce that the Google Street View imagery of the Rideau Canal Skateway, the world's largest skating rink managed by the NCC, is now available.
Spokespersons from Parks Canada, the NCC and Google are available to answer your questions regarding this initiative which will inspire the world to connect with the Rideau Canal Skateway, part of a UNESCO world heritage site in the heart of Canada's Capital.
