OTTAWA, May 13, 2013 /CNW/ - The national camping season is launched during the long weekend of May and Parks Canada gives you the opportunity to develop an original story linking technology and the Great Outdoors.
The Parks Canada "Learn-to-Camp" smartphone and tablet app will help first time campers to learn how to plan a camping trip, how to start a fire, how to set up a tent, and it can even help plan meals.
In addition, the mobile application used by over 25,000 and counting camping enthusiasts highlights the most beautiful sites for camping in the 44 national parks of Canada.
Tamara Tarasoff is fully bilingual and led this project. She will be pleased to share her passion for this cool and handy application developed by Parks Canada.
