Editor's Note: A media bus tour of the new Route 8 Marysville Bypass will take place on Thursday, July 24, beginning at 10 a.m.
FREDERICTON, July 21, 2014 /CNW/ - The Honourable Keith Ashfield, MP for Fredericton, and the Honourable Claude Williams, NB Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure will participate along with local MPs and MLAs, Tom McGinn, executive director of the NB Road Builders Association, Jean‑Marc Picard, executive director of the Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association, as well as highway project managers for the department.
Members of the media are asked to meet the tour bus in the parking lot at Marysville Place, 20 McGloin Street, Fredericton, at least a half hour before departure time. A parking area will be available at Marysville Place. The tour will take approximately two hours return trip. There will be three or four arranged stops along the new highway for photographs and video footage.
