MediaAdvisory - Minister Boissonnault to announce funding to bolster medical technology development in Alberta

EDMONTON, AB, Dec. 18, 2023 /CNW/ - The Honourable Randy Boissonnault, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Official Languages, on behalf of the Honourable Dan Vandal, Minister for PrairiesCan, will announce support for Alberta's health and medical technology sector to ramp up the commercialization of human mobility and home health innovations.

Joining Minister Boissonnault will be Mark Korthuis, President, and CEO of the Glenrose Hospital Foundation; Lynette Lutes, Senior Operating Officer, Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital; Christian Bagg, Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Bowhead; Shaneel Pathak, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Zamplo. Speakers will be available to answer questions following the announcement.

Members of the media are requested to meet at the front entrance of the hospital to be escorted to the announcement area. Masks will be provided and are highly recommended at the site.
