Mediagrif acquires InterTrade Systems Inc.

LONGUEUIL, QC, Dec. 22 /CNW Telbec/ - Mediagrif Interactive Technologies Inc. (TSX: MDF), a world-leading provider of e-commerce solutions, announced today that it has acquired all of the issued and outstanding shares of Laval based InterTrade Systems Inc. ("InterTrade") for a cash consideration of $8.1 million.

InterTrade (www.intertrade.com) offers innovative e-commerce solutions that allow its clients to efficiently manage and control their supply chain collaboration. In addition to its complete EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) solutions, InterTrade offers product-data-synchronization (catalogues) between retailers and suppliers. InterTrade's private catalogue solution caters to more than 20 retailers and 2,200 suppliers. Following this acquisition, InterTrade's clientele will continue receiving the same high quality service from InterTrade dedicated staff.

Mediagrif's e-commerce expertise and financial strength will help InterTrade accelerate its growth in this fast-growing sector. In parallel, Mediagrif's existing networks will be able to extend their product offerings and have access to a strong EDI platform. This transaction is expected to be immediately accretive to Mediagrif's earnings.
