Medias invitation - Watch US Election Night 2016 live with experts from the Raoul-Dandurand Chair Français
MONTREAL, Nov. 7, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - The media are invited to watch US election night, starting at 6 pm on Tuesday, November 8, in the company of experts on American politics, members of the business community, and Americans. This invitation-only event will be hosted by Radio-Canada journalist Marie-Louise Arsenault, in the presence of Erik Ryan, president of the Board of Directors of UQAM's Raoul-Dandurand Chair in Strategic and Diplomatic Studies, Frédérick Gagnon, holder of the Chair, and Nina Maria Fite, Consul General of the United States in Montreal.
The evening will start off with the live broadcast of a television special hosted by Ann-Marie Dussault (RDI) from 6:30 to 8 pm, followed by real-time viewing of the returns on big screens (CNN and RDI). There also will be tables reserved for chats and panels on the developing results, with the following experts:
- Frederick Gagnon, holder of the Raoul-Dandurand Chair and Director of the Observatoire sur les États-Unis
- Charles-Philippe David, president of the Observatoire sur les États-Unis
- Elisabeth Vallet, Science Director of the Raoul-Dandurand Chair
- Tom Creary, associate member of the Observatoire sur les États-Unis
- Ginette Chenard, senior researcher at the Observatoire sur les États-Unis
- Julien Tourreille, Amélie Escobar, Christophe Cloutier-Roy and Vincent Boucher, researchers in residence at the Observatoire sur les États-Unis
