RICHMOND, BC, March 11, 2014 /CNW/ - MediJean, the leading voice in the new Health Canada medical marijuana industry today released a set of photos that offer a glimpse inside their state-of-the-art medical marijuana facility, including their research laboratory and custom designed vault.
"We have invested millions of dollars to ensure our facility exceeds all Health Canada requirements," said Jean Chiasson, chief executive officer at MediJean. "Any company committed to this industry must take the necessary steps to ensure they are operating as a clean-room environment and that they are meeting the strict security protocols required."
Throughout the setup of their building MediJean has worked with mechanical engineers, security consultants, architects, fire & rescue consultants, electricians, quality assurance specialists, and medical marijuana production specialists to ensure their facility exceeds all requirements. From the research laboratory, to the paint on the walls and floors, the energy-efficient lights throughout the entire building, the stainless steel instruments and working surfaces, to the custom designed vault, and beyond, no investment in quality has been overlooked to ensure the highest standards.
"If you want to lead an industry, you have to do it right and that means exceeding all requirements," said Anton Mattadeen, chief strategy officer at MediJean. "As part of our commitment to the community and Health Canada, we have designed our bio-pharmaceutical facility to guarantee that there will be no impact on the public in any fashion. We have made the necessary investments to ensure our operation is odourless, is industrially sterile, exceeds all fire & safety regulations, and meets all federal, provincial and municipal requirements."
