Melissa Lantsman joins Hill+Knowlton Strategies as Vice President, Public Affairs in Toronto
TORONTO, June 27, 2018 /CNW/ - Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K), Canada's top-ranked public relations and public affairs firm, is pleased to announce Melissa Lantsman is joining the firm as Vice President, Public Affairs in its Toronto office effective July 5th, 2018.
Fresh off her role heading up the Progressive Conservative Party Campaign War Room during the 2018 Ontario provincial election, Melissa joins H+K with more than ten years of senior public affairs and strategic communications experience. Prior to serving on the Doug Ford campaign, she served as Director of Communications to the Caroline Mulroney campaign for the leadership of the Ontario PC Party and worked in the private sector as Senior Director of Public Affairs and Communications at CIBC.
Melissa held senior roles within the federal government, including Director of Communications for the Offices of the Minister of Finance, Minister of the Environment and Minister of Foreign Affairs during Stephen Harper's Conservative government, as well as policy and parliamentary affairs roles.

Melissa currently serves as a National Board Member of the Canadian Jewish Political Affairs Committee (CJPAC) and on the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs Advisory Council (CIJA). She is a Women in Politics program mentor and is active in young leadership fundraising for Crohn's and Colitis Canada. Melissa is a frequent contributor to various Canadian media outlets. She is fluent in English, French and has a working proficiency in Russian.
