Mercator Transport sets up office in Tanzania

LAVAL, QC, April 27 /CNW Telbec/ - Mercator Transport Group Corporation ("Mercator Transport") (TSX-V : GMT) is proud to announce it is moving ahead with its development strategy in East Africa, inaugurating a new place of business in the port city of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, main economic hub of the country.

This inauguration is made in the context of the Mercator East Africa Inc. joint venture, in line with the previously announced setting up of new places of business in Kenya and Uganda.

This new establishment will allow Mercator Transport to gain a foothold and implement its marine, air and road transportation activities in this country, which shows high economic growth potential, including services to its industrial projects sector, amongst others.
