Mercier Bridge - Closing of Ramp 2 - on ramp in the Montreal and La Prairie

LONGUEUIL, QC, June 2 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) and the Ministère des Transports du Québec (MTQ) wish to announce the following closures on the Honoré-Mercier Bridge during the night of Wednesday, June 2, until the morning of Thursday, June 3:
Wednesday, June 2, 2010 from 8:00 PM to Thursday, June 3, at 5:00 AM:
- Complete closure of Ramp 2 from Laprairie toward Montreal (from the Old Malone Road to the Honoré-Mercier Bridge)
Signage panels will indicate the detour roads for users. Users travelling toward Montreal will use the Old Malone Road, the temporarily access ramp linking the service road 132 and 138. The exit (Saint-Isodore Road) of the road 207 will allow users to connect to the road 138 toward Montreal and access the bridge by the ramp 4 from Châteauguay.
Wednesday, June 2, 2010 from 10:00 PM to Thursday, June 3, at 5:00 AM:
- Complete closure of Ramp 2 in the direction Laprairie
Users travelling toward La Prairie are invited to take the reverse route. Using the Chateauguay Exit of the bridge (ramp 3), the users will travel toward Laprairie by taking the exit (Saint-Isodore Road) of the road 207. Then, the users will take the service road 138 and 132 direction Laprairie.
Wednesday, June 2, 2010 from 8:00 PM to Thursday, June 3, at 8:00 AM:
- Closure of one lane on the Honoré-Mercier Bridge in the direction Châteauguay
This work will allow the installation of the signalization panels for the closure of the Ramp 3 (toward Chateauguay) during the day on June 3, 2010.
