Mercier Bridge: Detour to Access Bridge on October 16 - Closure of one of two
lanes towards La Prairie and Montreal

LONGUEUIL, QC, Oct. 15 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) and the Ministère des Transports du Québec (MTQ) wish to announce that one of two lanes on the access ramp to La Prairie will be closed to traffic on Friday, October 16 , from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

Also note that the access ramp from La Prairie will be reduced to one lane from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on October 16 .

Please remember that access to Mercier Bridge from Châteauguay (ramp 4) is also closed to traffic. Users coming from Châteauguay should continue to use the detour road setup from Highway 138 in place since June.

We encourage motorists to use other South Shore bridges and the transit system during this construction period.
