Mercier Bridge: Schedule Change - Closure of one of two lanes on the access
ramp heading to La Prairie from October 8 until October 9

LONGUEUIL, QC, Oct. 7 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) and the Ministère des Transports du Québec (MTQ) wish to inform the public about the closure of one of two lanes on the access ramp heading to La Prairie (ramp 2) from Thursday, October 8 at 3 a.m. until Friday, October 9 at 11:59 p.m.

The work was rescheduled to October 8 and 9 given the bad weather that prevailed on the morning of October 7 .

Please note that the access ramp to the Mercier Bridge from Châteauguay (ramp 4) is also closed to traffic. During the roadwork, access to Highway 132 heading to La Prairie will be reduced to one lane.

Motorists are encouraged to use other South Shore bridges during the duration of the repair work, as well as take public transportation.
