MFDA adjourns Hearing on the Merits in the matter of Mervin Visneskie
TORONTO, July 12, 2017 /CNW/ - The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada ("MFDA") commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Mervin Evans Visneskie (the "Respondent") by Notice of Hearing dated January 18, 2016 (the "Notice of Hearing").
Following a teleconference between the parties, the hearing of this matter on its merits, originally scheduled to take place July 17-21, 2017 in Toronto, Ontario, has been adjourned to October 30 – November 3, 2017, commencing at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern), each day, or as soon thereafter as the appearance can be held, in the hearing room at the MFDA offices, located at 121 King Street West, Suite 1000, Toronto, Ontario. The hearing on the merits will be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.
A copy of the Notice of Hearing is available on the MFDA website at www.mfda.ca. During the period described in the Notice of Hearing, the Respondent conducted business in the Kinburn, Ontario area.
