MFDA announces location of Luc Laverdiere Hearing

TORONTO, April 8 /CNW/ - The MFDA commenced a disciplinary proceeding against Luc Laverdiere by Notice of Hearing dated December 9, 2009.

The hearing of this matter on its merits will take place before a Hearing Panel of the Pacific Regional Council on May 3, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. (Pacific), or as soon thereafter as the hearing can be held, in the hearing room located at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, 900 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, British Columbia.

The MFDA is the self-regulatory organization for Canadian mutual fund dealers, regulating the operations, standards of practice and business conduct of its 141 Members and their approximately 75,000 Approved Persons with a mandate to protect investors and the public interest.
