MFDA Hearing Panel adjourns Application Hearing regarding Gilles Latour
TORONTO, Oct. 24, 2014 /CNW/ - An Application Hearing in the matter of Gilles Robert Latour (the "Respondent") commenced today in Toronto, Ontario before a 3-person Hearing Panel of the MFDA's Central Regional Council pursuant to section 24.3 of MFDA By-law No. 1.
Following submissions from the parties, the Hearing Panel adjourned the Application Hearing to November 11, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern), in the MFDA hearing room located at 121 King Street West, Suite 1000, Toronto, Ontario. The Hearing Panel made an interim Order prohibiting the Respondent from engaging in any securities related activities outside Equity Associates Inc., a Member of the MFDA, including borrowing from clients or non-clients, pending the return of the Application Hearing on November 11, 2014.
A copy of the Notice of Application is available on the MFDA website at www.mfda.ca. During the period described in the Notice of Application, the Respondent carried on business in Cornwall, Ontario.
