MFDA Hearing Panel adjourns Hearing on the Merits in the matter of Byron Daues
TORONTO, Nov. 27, 2017 /CNW/ - The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada ("MFDA") commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Byron Heinz Daues ("Respondent") by Notice of Hearing dated March 24, 2017 ("Notice of Hearing").
Prior to the Hearing on the Merits, scheduled for November 28, 2017, the Respondent made an adjournment request to the Hearing Panel. The Hearing Panel granted the adjournment and the hearing will now take place on November 29, 2017, commencing at 10:30 a.m. (Eastern), or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the hearing room at MFDA offices, located at 121 King Street West, Suite 1000, Toronto, Ontario. The proceeding will be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.
A copy of the Notice of Hearing is available on the MFDA website at www.mfda.ca. During the period described in the Notice of Hearing, the Respondent conducted business in the Courtice, Ontario area.
