MFDA Hearing Panel hears motion in the matter of Alfredo Pino
TORONTO, April 10, 2018 /CNW/ - The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada ("MFDA") commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Alfredo Pino, also known as Alfie Pino ("Respondent") by Notice of Hearing dated November 7, 2016.
A Hearing Panel of the MFDA's Central Regional Council heard a motion today, in Toronto, Ontario, brought by the Respondent, seeking to adjourn the hearing of this matter on its merits. Following submissions by the parties, the Hearing Panel granted the adjournment and ordered the hearing of this matter on its merits take place October 22-24, 2018, commencing at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern) each day, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the hearing room at the offices of the MFDA, located at 121 King Street West, Suite 1000, Toronto, Ontario. The proceeding will continue be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.
