MFDA reschedules Hearing on the Merits in the matter of Mahmoud Visanji
TORONTO, Sept. 18, 2014 The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada ("MFDA") commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Mahmoud Akberali Visanji (the "Respondent") by Notice of Hearing (the "Notice of Hearing") dated February 11, 2014.
The hearing of this matter on its merits, originally scheduled to take place September 22, 2014, will now, on consent of the parties, take place November 10, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern), or as soon thereafter as the hearing can be held, in the MFDA hearing room, located at 121 King Street West, Toronto, Ontario. The hearing will be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.
A copy of the Notice of Hearing is available on the MFDA website at www.mfda.ca.During the period described in the Notice of Hearing, the Respondent carried on business in Ottawa, Ontario.
