MFDA sets date for Gillian Gibson-Sargeant Hearing in Toronto, Ontario

TORONTO, April 15 /CNW/ - The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada ("MFDA") commenced a disciplinary proceeding against Gillian Ann Gibson-Sargeant by Notice of Hearing dated March 8, 2010.

As specified in the Notice of Hearing, the first appearance in this matter took place today before a three-member Hearing Panel of the MFDA's Central Regional Council.

The hearing of this matter on its merits has been scheduled to take place on June 28, 2010 commencing at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern), or as soon as thereafter as the hearing can be held, in the hearing room located at the offices of the MFDA at 121 King Street West, Suite 1000, Toronto, Ontario. The hearing will be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.
