MFL Management Limited Announces Increase in Holdings of MBN Corporation

TORONTO, Oct. 16, 2013 /CNW/ - MFL Management Limited ("MFL") hereby announces that as of October 16, 2013 it has purchased additional equity shares of MBN Corporation (the "Equity Shares").  MFL is acting jointly and in concert with certain other holders (collectively, the "Joint Actor Group") of Equity Shares.  The Joint Actor Group is comprised of MFL, the Brasseur Family Trust (which is the majority interest shareholder of MFL) and certain directors and/or senior officers of companies within the Middlefield Group.

MFL currently owns or controls 623,100 Equity Shares, which represents approximately 13.9% of the Equity Shares currently outstanding. The Joint Actor Group (including MFL) currently owns or controls in the aggregate 853,605 Equity Shares, which represents approximately 19.0% of the Equity Shares currently outstanding.  This reflects a 2% increase over the holdings previously announced on September 17, 2013.

The Joint Actor Group was formed for the purpose of acquiring Equity Shares for investment purposes, and members of the Joint Actor Group may from time to time acquire additional Equity Shares for such purposes.
