TORONTO, April 15, 2019 /CNW/ - MKTG Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Beckerman as President and CEO of MKTG Canada effective May 1, 2019. Michael brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the role having worked in three continents across several industries on both client and agency sides.

Most recently Michael was CEO of North American marketing agencies Ariad Communications and Bluespire Marketing. This was preceded by serving as Chief Marketing Officer for BMO where he spearheaded increasing the marketing orientation and customer focus throughout the organization.
Michael's experience also includes senior marketing roles in Canada, Europe, the U.S. and Asia for NIKE and other leading global brands including MVP.com and Canadian Airlines. During his tenure at NIKE, Michael oversaw consumer engagement strategies across a number of channels and platforms, including retail, events, sponsorship, product, advertising and on-line.
Michael will report to Brian Cooper and Brian will continue to be involved in the oversight of MKTG Canada.
