Military and Emergency Services come together in duty uniforms for Honour House
VANCOUVER, March 15, 2014 /CNW/ - On Sunday March 16th Canadian Forces members, emergency services (fire, paramedics and police) from agencies all over the lower mainland will take part in a unique photo campaign for Honour House.
This event will include participation from agencies including Army, Navy, Air Force, RCMP, Vancouver Police, New Westminster Police and Fire Rescue, BC Ambulance Paramedics, Canada Border Services, Corrections BC and Veterans along with families who have stayed at the house. Members will be photographed in their duty uniforms. These photographs will be used on the new Honour House website and in literature to bring awareness to Honour House.
Honour House is located in New Westminster and is a "home-away-from-home" for Canadian Forces, Veterans, emergency services and their families to stay in times of need, while receiving treatment in Metro Vancouver. Honour House Society is a not for profit and charitable organization with a mandate to provide free accommodations to our heroes.
