SEPT-ÎLES, QC, Aug. 29, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - Ministère des Forêts, de la Faune et des Parcs (MFFP) would like to inform the Minganie RCM population that it will be touring area municipalities between September 18 and 26, 2018, to distribute timber harvesting permits to residents of the RCM.
The permit allows residents using timber for domestic purposes to receive as much as 22.5 m³ stacked (18.75 cords 16 inches long) depending on the going rate. The permit is valid until March 31, 2019. Residents who want the permit can put in a request on the following dates at the following locations.

MFFP would like to remind you that a permit is mandatory to harvest timber in public forests. Like all other forest activities, timber harvesting is subject to strict rules to protect forest resources.
