For brave new program launch in 2011
TORONTO, Aug. 20 /CNW/ - The Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) has appointed Dr. Chris Twigge-Molecey as President of CIM for 2010-2011.
Dr. Twigge-Molecey is an international board member for the Hatch Group of companies, a global consulting, technical and construction-program management group that serves the worldwide mining-and-metals, energy and infrastructure sectors.
Chris joined Hatch in 1972, and after 20 years in capital-project delivery, has taken on a range of global executive roles focussed on the startup of international business initiatives, in the CIS, South America and China.
Chris is a director of the Canada-China Business Council and throughout his career, has shared his expertise with a number of professional, academic and governmental organizations.
CIM is the professional society representing engineers, scientists and other members of the exploration, mining, metals and materials sectors in Canada and internationally.
