The Honourable Leona Aglukkaq congratulates Air North on their first Whitehorse to Ottawa flight, which will increase economic opportunity and growth in the region.
Air North will now offer regular scheduled flights to and from Whitehorse to Ottawa, with a stop in Yellowknife. The Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency's mandate is to promote economic development and prosperity across Canada's three territories. It is a hub for northern economic development, working with Northerners to come up with new and innovative ideas to create jobs and growth in the North.
