REPUBLIC OF KOREA, April 24, 2013 /CNW/ - The Honourable Steven Blaney, Minister of Veterans Affairs and La Francophonie, and His Excellency David Chatterson, Canada's Ambassador to Korea, co-hosted a reception for 36 Canadian Veterans participating in the Revisit Korea Program in the Republic of Korea.
As part of the Revisit Program, each of the four Commonwealth countries hosts Veterans from their respective countries for a reception. During Canada's reception, Minister Blaney presented a certificate of excellence to Yon Jin Jeon, Ministry of Patriots and Veterans of Affairs (MPVA) for the Republic of Korea. An employee of the MPVA, Mr. Jeon has made a longstanding contribution to the Revisit Korea Program.
