REPUBLIC OF KOREA, April 25, 2013 /CNW/ - The Honourable Steven Blaney, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Minister for La Francophonie, today participated in a traditional ash ceremony at the Seoul National Ceremony in Seoul, Korea.
The Seoul National Cemetery is the nation's sanctuary where those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for the defence and development of their country are resting in peace.
2013 is the Year of the Korean War Veteran. Canada proudly remembers the heroes of the Korean War and their brave fight to uphold freedom, democracy and the rule of law.
