QUÉBEC, June 4, 2020 /CNW Telbec/ - Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Solidarity and Minister Responsible for the Mauricie Region, Jean Boulet, announced a new online placement service called Jetravaille!, a simple and free tool designed to support the gradual re-launching of economic activities. The service is not only a fast way for businesses from all across Québec to make their labour needs known, but it also enables people looking for work to apply for jobs in just a few clicks.
Using geolocation and artificial intelligence technology, the Jetravaille! service enables personalized job searches and optimal candidate-employer matching. All Québec businesses have access to the service as of immediately. However, priority will be given to processing job offers from businesses in priority services and activities and those that are authorized to resume their activities.
People looking for work can consult job offers at Québec.ca/jetravaille and create a personal account to leverage all of the platform's functions. Businesses can post their job offers at the same address following validation of their business account.
Quote:
"The new labour market reality caused by the pandemic will result in a high unemployment rate in certain sectors and a significant labour shortage in others. Concrete solutions such as Jetravaille! will not only help businesses find workers, but it will also provide job seekers with a simple way to apply for openings. I strongly encourage employers and people looking for work to register today."
Jean Boulet, Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Solidarity and Minister Responsible for the Mauricie Region
