Minister Joly Announces Appointments to CBC/Radio-Canada Board including New Chair and President & CEO Français
OTTAWA, April 3, 2018 /CNW/ - The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage, today announced the appointment of the new Chair, President & CEO, and three additional Members of the Board of CBC/Radio-Canada.
CBC/Radio-Canada congratulates our new Chair, Michael Goldbloom; new President and CEO, Catherine Tait, and Board members Suzanne Guèvremont, Guillaume Aniorté, and Sandra B. Singh, on their appointment and welcomes them to the public broadcaster.
We look forward to working with them as we continue to modernize our services and deepen our connection with Canadians in the digital world.
We would also like to take this occasion to express our thanks to outgoing Chair Rémi Racine for his service to Canada's national public broadcaster and to Canadians.
Current President and CEO Hubert T. Lacroix will continue to lead CBC/Radio-Canada until Ms. Tait assumes her duties in July.
