Minister of Canadian Heritage Mélanie Joly To Give Opening Keynote at The Banff World Media Festival June 12th to 15th

BANFF, Alberta, April 19, 2016 /CNW/ -- The Banff World Media Festival is proud to announce that The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, will kick off BANFF with a Keynote Address. Minister Joly will address the delegates on Sunday, June 12^th at 4:00 pm.  BANFF runs from June 12^th to 15^th, 2016.

Now in its 37^th year, BANFF is recognized globally as a business market for executives working in the content industry.  Its focus is the development, production, distribution and monetization of screen-based content, and it is the preeminent event where Canadians can gain access to buyers and thought leaders from around the world in order to move projects forward.
