Minister of Finance to Speak in Victoria and Vancouver

OTTAWA, June 10 /CNW Telbec/ - The Honourable Jim Flaherty, Minister of Finance, will be the keynote speaker at two events held in Victoria and Vancouver, on Friday, June 11, 2010.

Victoria

Minister Flaherty will speak at the 2010 Financial Executives International Canada Conference in Victoria. The Minister is scheduled to speak at approximately 9:00 a.m.

The event will take place in the Lecture Theatre of the Victoria Conference Centre, 720 Douglas Street, in Victoria.

Vancouver

Minister Flaherty will speak at a luncheon hosted by the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute in Vancouver. The Minister is scheduled to speak at approximately 12:20 p.m.

The event will take place in the Pacific Ballroom of the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, 900 West Georgia Street, in Vancouver.
