Minister of Veterans Affairs honours four Islanders for outstanding contributions to Canada's Veterans Français
The Honourable Julian Fantino presents Commendations at a ceremony in Charlottetown
CHARLOTTETOWN, July 10, 2014 /CNW/ - The Honourable Julian Fantino, Minister of Veterans Affairs, today presented commendations to the following Prince Edward Island residents for their exemplary service to Veterans:
- Byron Clow of Meadowbank
- Margaret MacKinnon of Cornwall
- William Minnis of Belfast
- Darrach Murray of Kensington
Through their volunteer efforts, these dedicated individuals have contributed to the well-being of Veterans in their communities by serving on committees and boards, planning and coordinating events, creating awareness of Veterans' sacrifices and achievements, and providing care and comfort to Veterans.
