Minto Explorations to Participate in Mining & Geology Week May 10-14, 2010 in
Whitehorse, Yukon
VANCOUVER, May 6 /CNW/ - Minto Explorations Ltd., a subsidiary of Capstone Mining Corp. (CS: TSX) is pleased to help celebrate Natural Resources Canada's National Mining Week by participating in Mining and Geology Week in Whitehorse, Yukon. The Government of Yukon, the Yukon Chamber of Mines and mining companies are joining together to organize activities, displays and contests in Whitehorse, Carcross and Teslin throughout Mining and Geology Week.
Minto Explorations will be exhibiting at the Elijah Smith Building, May 10-14 where from 9 AM - 4 PM, students and the general public are invited to learn more about glaciers, glacial deposits and operating mines in the Yukon.
Minto Explorations is looking forward to teaching students about its Minto Mine, one of the world's highest grade open pit copper-gold mines (located 240km north of Whitehorse), and about the importance of copper in our everyday lives.
Minto Explorations is pleased to support this initiative in promoting education in mining, geology and exploration and invites shareholders, stakeholders and community members in Yukon to visit us at the Elijah Smith Building in Whitehorse, Yukon May 10-14, 2010.
