Mister Transmission, a national supporter of Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, surpassed their commitment of $50K on October 1st of 2014.
TORONTO, Nov. 6, 2014 /CNW/ - Mister Transmission, Canada's largest chain of transmission and technology experts, is proud to announce they have raised a total of $80K for Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Mister Transmission became a national supporter in May of 2014, where they committed to raise a minimum of $50K by October 31, 2014.
On September 21, 2014, Mister Transmission's COO, Doug Wallace passed away. This unfortunate tragedy led to tremendous triumph, as Mister Transmission and the Wallace family were determined to make this effort a huge success. On October 5, Mister Transmission accepted two Determination Awards for Richmond Hill/Markham including one, remarkably, for Doug himself, as well as the Corporate Spirit Award for their commitment to the cause.
"Unfortunately, we had to endure a tremendous loss. When Doug passed, it was a hard time for us all." said Randall A. Moore, President and CEO. "In a way it made us closer, and we were able to turn a negative situation into something positive for others." Doug was a key influencer in partnering with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation; his influence has impacted the lives of others, and everyone at Mister Transmission.
