New carrier's 25-cent-per-minute US calling flat rate
a fraction of what incumbents charge
TORONTO, Nov. 8 /CNW/ - Mobilicity today rolled out both US and global roaming for customers travelling beyond Canadian borders to over 60 countries.
In addition to providing its valued customers with unlimited zones and national coverage across Canada, the new wireless carrier makes it easy and affordable to connect with family, friends and business associates while traveling or doing business in the US, Caribbean, India, Europe and many other popular destinations.
While in the US, Mobilicity customers pay a flat-rated $0.25 per minute on calls to Canada and the US. In comparison, Bell Mobility, Rogers Wireless and Telus Mobility charge consumers an approximate average of $1.30 per minute.
Roam without any bill surprises
Mobilicity enables US and global roaming without the risk of receiving outrageously expensive bills at the end of the month, as is commonly the case with other Canadian wireless carriers. Customers simply load funds into My WalletTM when they travel - making sure there are no unpleasant bill surprises when they return home.
My Wallet is Mobilicity's exclusive, dedicated personal depository that makes using pay-per-use services, such as roaming and downloading content easy for Mobilicity customers.
