Carrier's unlimited 4G network to expand into Pickering, Ajax, Whitby & Oshawa by September; and Oakville, Burlington & Hamilton/Stoney Creek by December 2013
TORONTO, Nov. 21, 2012 /CNW/ - Mobilicity today announced it is actively working on enlarging its unlimited 4G network with a series of launches from Oshawa to Hamilton across the core of Ontario's Golden Horseshoe region in 2013.
Mobilicity's President and Chief Operating Officer Stewart Lyons said the company is on track to launch its value-based, unlimited mobile service in Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa by September, and in Milton, Oakville, Burlington and Hamilton/Stoney Creek by December 2013.
"To the hardworking people living in Oshawa, Hamilton and everywhere in between, we want to let you know that your days of being overcharged for wireless are numbered," said Lyons. "Mobilicity is on its way. Our engineering team has been working on network builds in your areas and we're looking for new dealers and employees to help us deliver the value you deserve through Mobilicity's no-contract, affordable unlimited data, talk and text service."
In recent, related news, Mobilicity upgraded its HSPA+-enabled network to 4G last month to enable data speeds of up to 21Mbps, and allow customers to fully leverage cutting-edge 4G smartphones and browse the web, run apps and watch video clips with enhanced quality and speed.
